Principal, Infrastructure Projects Group
Liam is a principal at KPMG and manages the Infrastructure Projects Group in the US. He has over twenty years of experience in advising on project finance, project delivery, asset management and operational improvement mandates across four continents.
Liam advised on the early PFI deals in the UK and Europe before being involved in pathfinder PPP projects in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Singapore and acting as lead adviser to the Commonwealth of Australia on their PPP program. Over the course of the last ten years Liam has advised a long list of clients in the US including LA Metro, Sound Transit, OCTA, University of California, California State University and the States of Arizona, California, Indiana, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Texas, Utah and Washington.
He has led commercial and financial advice to public sector sponsors at all stages of project development, procurement and implementation in over $25 billion of successful transactions including trailblazing projects such as the IH 635 Managed Lanes, North Tarrant Express, SH 130 5&6, Presidio Parkway, Ohio River Bridges and Michigan Highway Lighting and is currently advising on long list of active procurements.
Liam has advised both public and private sector clients on transactions across a wide range of sectors including transit, rail, roads, housing, schools, health, university campus development and student accommodation, lottery, courts, corrections, police, water, waste, aerospace and defense.Back to speakers
